Rutger Hauer Autographed Fantastic Original 'Inside the Third Reich' Promo Photo!
The TV mini-series 'Inside the Third Reich', directed by Marvin J. Chomsky, was released in 1981. It also featured John Gielgud, Ian Holm, Blythe Danner, Maria Schell, Robert Vaughn, etc., etc.
Rutger portrayed in a matchless way the role of Albert Speer, the architect of Adolf Hitler. This film is based on Albert Speer’s own monograph. Speer was found guilty and sentenced to 20 years in Spandau prison, where he wrote his memoirs. He was released in 1966 and died September 1st, 1981.
Concerning this TV miniseries, the “New York Times” wrote “Crammed with impressive scenes and marvelous performances. As Speer, Rutger Hauer performs to coldly handsome perfection”.
The reverse side of this photo has 3 original stamps: the copyright ones and a Dutch newspaper blue stamp.
It measures 10" x 7" (25.5 cms x 17.5 cms) and Rutger has autographed it in black permanent ink.
