The Man in the Moon
© by Sue Kugler
The Moon at night
Is a big white light
When it's full, it's round
And lights up everything in town
A man with no hair
Lives in there
And when the moon is full
He rules
Sometimes he's an effervescent
Crescent
He's a dramatic fanatic
Can make magic
He makes people look above
And then they fall in love
Many things have been written
About vampires who have bitten
And when the full Moon is out
It's said they roam about
Looking for prey
They never come out in the day
So don't go walking alone
Because they roam
When the Moon is full
This is their tool
They need
To make you bleed
The Moon can cause a reflection
To perfection
Nothing can escape detection
So be careful what you do
Dracula might be watching you
