Bird Brain
© by Susan Kugler

Birds sing and birds fly
It's no wonder why
They're such a sight to see
Gliding over the sea

Suspended in mid air
Without a care
No problem for them
Swoop down and then
Back up high
Into the sky

All they do is flap their wings
And fly over anything
While we need an airplane
Had to build a machine with our brain
But still couldn't explain

What made them go
No, we needed petro
Built great big things
And tried to say we've got wings

To them, it's a piece of cake
We can't make
No, we're fake

Now, who's got the "bird brain"
Maybe you can explain
